We are a group of local people who volunteer to give help and support to residents of Clanfield and North Horndean who have no-one to assist them. We began in 1978 as Clanfield Voluntary Care Group and changed our name to Clanfield Voluntary Support Group in 2021
Our running costs are met through voluntary donations from the people we help. ALL volunteers are DBS checked.
Transport to appointments at local GP surgeries, hospitals, clinics, blood tests, opticians, chiropodists and hairdressers.
Transport to local shops.
Sitting with the housebound to provide company or to relieve carers who need to go out..
We are always looking for more volunteers to join us. They are asked to help when they can and according to their personal circumstances.
Benefits of being a volunteer:
You enjoy your experiences
You are appreciated by the people you help
You provide a valued contribution to our village
You help to promote a community spirit
